Terms and Conditions (Updated)

These Terms and Conditions apply to all visitors, users, and customers who access or use our services.
1. Minimum Requirements
Clients must provide our cleaning team with access to running hot water, electricity, and safe entry into the property. If these conditions are not met, the appointment may be canceled or rescheduled, and a fee may apply.
2. Account Responsibility
When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials.
If you notice any unauthorized activity on your account, please notify us immediately.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We kindly ask that you notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled cleaning to avoid a cancellation fee.
A fee of 25% of your booking total will be charged for appointments canceled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice.
4. Payments
All payments are processed securely via Stripe using debit or credit card.
A temporary authorization hold will be placed on your card when the booking is confirmed. Your card will be charged only after the service has been completed.
5. Moving Furniture & Large Items
For safety reasons, our cleaning teams cannot move furniture or appliances weighing more than 30 lbs.
If you wish for us to clean behind or underneath such items, please move them prior to our arrival.
6. First-Time Cleaning & Accuracy of Service
If your home or office has not been professionally cleaned within the last month, a Deep Cleaning may be required.
Upon arrival, our team will perform a walkthrough to verify that the service booked matches the actual condition of the property.
If a deep cleaning or heavy-duty upgrade is necessary, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.
7. Hourly Cleaning Services
Hourly services require a minimum of two hours (four man-hours: two cleaners × two hours).
Our cleaners work efficiently; however, we cannot guarantee that all requested tasks will be completed within the selected timeframe, as results depend on the condition of the areas.
8. Preparing for Your Cleaning
Please declutter as much as possible in the areas you want cleaned, and secure valuable or unstable items.
We cannot take responsibility for accidents involving items that are unstable by nature (e.g., loose frames, fragile décor, items placed on unstable bases).
9. During the Cleaning
Whether you are present or not, our team follows a structured checklist for every service.
If you will not be home, please provide instructions regarding key placement, lockbox codes, or access codes.
Before & After Photos
To ensure quality and prevent misunderstandings, our team takes before and after photos of the cleaned areas.
If you decline photos, we cannot guarantee re-cleanings or refunds should a dispute arise.
10. Body Camera Policy (New)
At KAMY Cleaning Services, the safety of your home, belongings, and our cleaning teams is our top priority.
For this reason, our cleaners now wear body cameras during every appointment.
Purpose of Body Cameras:
- To protect your belongings and ensure transparency.
- To prevent misunderstandings or disputes.
- To create a safer work environment for both customers and staff.
- To verify service quality and adherence to cleaning checklists.
How Body Cameras Work:
- Cameras record only during the cleaning appointment.
- Footage is stored securely and accessed only in the event of a claim, dispute, or quality review.
- Footage is never shared unless legally required.
By booking our services, you acknowledge and accept the use of body cameras inside your home or business.
11. After the Cleaning
Our team will request a final walkthrough with you (if you are present) to ensure your satisfaction.
If any area requires additional attention, please notify the cleaners immediately.
All re-cleaning requests and refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of your service.
A re-cleaning must be attempted before any refund is considered.
We cannot offer re-cleaning or refunds if:
- You attempt to hire our cleaners directly outside of KAMY Cleaning Services.
- You are offensive or abusive toward our staff.
- There was no access to running water or electricity during the appointment.
